WOW! Long time no post!

Wow, it’s been almost 2 months since I’ve posted! Let’s see, lots has happened. We got our household goods, were in KC long enough to load up a 26 foot truck & headed back up here. We were racing my parents up cause they were on their way bringing the boys. Oh MAN I missed those guys!! I didn’t realize just how much I missed them until they got home. I swear they all grew a foot. Got everyone registered for school & got the kidlets’ supplies. No clue what Shane needs, so we’ll see once he starts or maybe on Thursday at orientation. I still need to register Abby w/the county & get her set up w/a vet. I also need to get my enhanced driver’s license. I tried to do that yesterday, but my name on my current DL doesn’t match what’s on my birth certificate so I have to dig out my divorce decree from 10 years ago (WOW!!) where my name changed. oy! Well, I’ve got a whole bunch of new pages to share then I’m goin my behind to bed.

Well, that’s what I got for now. I’m done for. Had it. I quit. Nite all!!!

I’ve got some new pages. Still w/o internet at home. Getting to know the folks at Tim Horton’s pretty well. Getting addicted to the iced french vanilla cappuccinos, too. Well, here’s my new pages then I’ve got to scoot. It’s freezing in here.

OK, that’s it from me. I’m frozen. And of course the only seat w/an outlet was right under the vent. BBBRRRRR I’m off to see if I can get ahold of Nick to see what he thinks of the rates the cable dude quoted me & see if we can’t get hooked up at home. Talk to ya’ll later!!

Remember this post I did? It’s on the perfume made by Rosie Jane called Leila Lou. It’s made with essential oils. Well, I got my sample. Can I just say that it is fabulous?! It smells SO clean, fresh & light. And no issues with headaches. I’ve worn it a couple of days now (not having internet at home right now is SO not fun!) and I’ve gotten many compliments on it. My husband even noticed! And he’s the kind of guy that he won’t notice something unless it smacks him in the face. I can’t wait til we get settled & everything straight here in the new house. I’m SO going to buy a bottle. http://www.leilalou.com/products.html is where you can order one for yourself. Seriously, very light, clean, fresh. Not overpowering, but it’s still noticeable. Does that make sense? Anyway, it gets a big ol thumbs up from me. Love that Leila Lou.

Does anyone have issues with perfumes? Do you get migraines from fragrances? I do. I had some once a while back made with essential oils that never bothered me. Of course, now I can’t remember who made it. BUT I heard about this company called Leila Lou. Cute, huh? Well, I checked out their site (http://www.leilalou.com/products.html). I read about the perfume made with essential oils. That got my attention. I sent an email at like 11:10 PM on a Saturday night (tonight) asking a question, not really expecting an answer til probably Monday or Tuesday. I got an answer less than 15 minutes later!! WOW. That’s some awesome customer service. Rosie herself answered (the OWNER!!!) and she was SO very nice. I can’t wait to get my perfume!! I’ll write up another post as soon as I get it to let ya’ll know how it smells. But going by the description, I’m thinking it’s going to be amazing!!! And they don’t use boxes, so it helps cut down on trash. Also very very cool.

Yep, I’ve got new ones. A few of em. A couple I’ve had for a few days, & some I just did. I’ve been a scrappin fool in the last few days. I’m going to post these then I’m going to take myself to bed. I’m still not used to the time difference & the fact it’s still light out after 9 PM. We’re still set to move into the new house on the 1st. But we have to go back to Kansas City to get our stuff. What started out as a TMO move (where the military moves us) has turned into a DITY move. Yep, we’re doing it ourselves. What’s that? Are we nuts? Yeah, I think so. But such is life. Here’s my pages, then off to bed for me.

We’re here. In the apartment we’ll be in til our house is ready. The apartment is OK, AWESOME view out the back door. We’re like 10-15 steps from a pond. I can sit out there for hours watching the geese & ducks. And oh yeah, I’ve got tons of pics. I’ve got a few LOs to share then it’s off to clean up some (amazing how messy it can get w/just the 2 of us!) Or maybe I’ll just go sit outside w/my camera. lol

I can’t believe he’s about to be 16!!! Wow. Just wow.

There’s my newest pretties. Time for me to wrap this up & go do what I’ve gotta do. Hmm, maybe I’ll just go get a pedi.

We got moved. I swear these people up here drive like maniacs. Taking a lefthand turn, you just close your eyes, hold on tight & pray.

On another note, I want to wish the love of my life a very happy anniversary today. Yes, I know it’s late, but I had connectivity issues all day, then Nick got home & we went out to eat & to check out some of the local shopping. It’s been a wonderful 7 years being married to him. A wonderful 8 years together. Love him dearly.

Yes, we’re still moving. We had movers for 3 hours yesterday. Still not done w/packing the nit-picky small stuff & cleaning. At this point I think we could fill up a dumpster all by ourselves. But Nick’s leave was extended a few days so we’re not in quite the mad rush we were in before. Plus we get to stop in Marceline, MO (where Walt Disney spent part of his childhood & based Main Street USA on). Oh, and I get to see my hunny bunny for our anniversary. He was supposed to have to work but since his leave was extended…. *grins* On that note, I’m going to scoot & take my sore, tired, sick of moving crap self on to bed.
